Bowl For The Cure A Success!

The Twin Tiers Affiliate holds their Bowl for the Cure event several times throughout the year. Altogether, events at Rossi, Dixie and Paramount Lanes helped raise $6,500 in support of our cause, spurred by a raffle for a beautiful quilt.

Heading into its 8th year of success, the Bowl for the Cure grew out of two women committed to fighting breast cancer for those they love. Linda Morrell and Sue Santucci have co-chaired the event from the start. For both women, cancer is personal. Linda has lost her grandmother and sister-in-law to breast cancer and has watched her mother battle the disease twice. Sue’s activism grew out of her husband’s 10-year battle with leukemia. Friends for over 40 years, this dynamic duo is an inspiration to us all.
